Let Us Tell You A Tale...

Tales Yet Told is an award-winning, queer-led, Actual Play podcast, focused on collaboratively telling stories at the intersection of queerness and horror using Indie TTRPGs.

Our stories center on troubled characters struggling to be true to themselves in uncompromising worlds that would rather bend and break them than allow them to exist as they are.

From cold-hearted killers driving down school hallways to naval soldiers rising from the depths of the ocean, Tales Yet Told is filled with heart-wrenching drama, hair-raising body horror, and enough humor in between to light the darkness.

Strangers in the Wood Special:
Dakota's Missed Call

In August 2022, at the inaugural Rainbow Roll Fest, Kendo and Marcie added to the Strangers in the Wood canon with a special episode that was performed live as they played "One Missed Call" by Caroline Hobbs. This episode acts as a prequel story, expanding on Dakota's relationship with his father and how it evolved the longer they were apart.

Fun Facts

  • It completes the trilogy of character-focused specials, alongside "Walter's Abnormal Past" and "The Death of Dorothy Reed".

  • It is the only episode of Tales Yet Told's main seasons to have been performed live.

Absolutely wonderful

"Great storytelling, and a wonderful combination of horror and humor. This is a fantastic podcast that breaks away from your standard D&D show, and it’s a breath of fresh air. 10/10 recommend!!!"
